The show continues to run fairly smoothly -- we continue to kick ass and take names. It's great sitting out in the house and hearing the laughter and the gasps and the revelations landing like perfectly aimed pebbles from a slingshot.
So much has taken place here in the city by the bay: visits with friends, my first oyster, my first vineyard visit, the momentous occasion of me becoming a Godmother to Melissa and Lee's daughter Matilda, my first mudbath, and of course, my diagnosis. (Obviously this was a pretty frigging big dark cloud over my time here, but I've tried to push it aside and let the sun shine in. Other "firsts" of note: my first mammogram, my first biopsy, and my first breast MRI!)
I'm excited about Los Angeles -- so many things to look forward to: the sweet house we have rented in Los Feliz, the sunny weather and nearby beaches, playing at the Ahmanson, Lisa and Jenn and Johanna visiting....and chemotherapy! More soon...
