I spent Thanksgiving this year with my mom and the Williamsons in Raleigh. Having had a chemo the day before, I was worried I wouldn't feel so hot for the big turkey day, but luckily the side effects take a couple of days to set in, so I was feeling pretty good! I ate a lot of great food (and only one dessert, which is a real accomplishment for me), and spent time with lots of people I love, including my adorable godson Hudson, who is so big and smart and adorable -- and has a mean right hook.
So, in spite of the cancer and in spite of the chemo and the traveling, I had a lovely, relaxing, peaceful, delicious holiday. I hope you all did as well.
