(Had I listened to my voicemail log-jam earlier, I probably would have found this out a couple of days ago! Apologies to those of you who tried to call and were greeted with that obnoxious woman telling you my mailbox was full.)
This just in: the genetic test for the BRCA gene came back NEGATIVE, which means not only do I not need to fret about whether or not to have a prophylactic double mastectomy, but my odds of cancer recurrence in the future are greatly reduced. Good news after so many days of yuckiness.
